Abstract:
The spectral transform has proved to be a powerful tool for solving non-linear evolution equations. In this paper a spectral problem is considered. A set of spectral data is defined and it is shown that the potentials can be recovered from this data. As an example the non-linear Klein-Gordon equation is solved by using the spectral transform.
