Abstract:
Eight genera of 12 nematode species belonging to the order Tylenchida were isolated and identified from rhizosphere of poppy crop growing in different parts of Afyon region of Turkey. Of these Tylenchorhynchus striatus Allen, 1955 and Pratylenchus coffeae (Zimmermann, 1898) Filpjev & Schuurmans Stekhoven, 1941 have been reported as a first record of Turkish nematode fauna.
