Abstract:
Eating lollies and sweets between meals decreases the appetite for other more nutritious foods, and unbalances the diet as a whole. Other diseases which are due to the excessive consumption of sugar include obesity, diabetes, heart trouble and skin disorders. Any sugar subsidy is nutrit-ionally undesirable and needing to be avoided.
