Abstract:
Two new trematode species Gogatea kalrii and gogatea karachiensis belonging to the family Cythocotylidae poche, 1926 are described. These are differentiated by the characteristic shapes of their bodies, size of cirrus sacs, location of gonads and arrangement of vitellaria. Both the species are parasite in the stomach of fresh water snake Cerberus rhynchopus in Sind Pakistan. A key is given to differentiate all the species of the Gogatea described in the world.
