Abstract:
Within the next 30 years, there would be substantial demand for the fuel. Consequently secondary fuels are to be developed. Of the latter hydrogen is the most important vilith methanol as a possible competitor. The former is clean, readily transportable and flexible in use. The two major breakIthrough in the technology of hydrogen are its thermochemical production by means of heat supplied by nuclear power with electroysis as a backup till fusion and solar energy technology gainmmore in expertise. Another breakthrough is its use in place of natural gas and road transport.
