A simple circuit has been proposed and successfully adopted for the measurements of low frequency hybrid equivalent circuit parameters of transistors. In order to make the technique of measurements available for quick laboratory checking of transistor parameters, a self-contained system has been designed, constructed and tested for performance. In the design, low frequency transistors have been used throughout Balance conditions of the bridge are achieved by a single calibrated resistance network of moderate value. Methods for the measurement of intrinsic h-parameters and extrinsic base resistance and collector leakage resistance of transistors have been devised. A table is given for ready evaluation of the common-base T- and common emitter - T-equivalent circuit parameters in terms of the hybrid parameters.
