Abstract:
A number of different refraction interpretation methods for delineating undulating refractors exist. Out of all these the generalized reciprocal method (GRM) of Palmer (1980) is a technique for delineating undulating refractors, at any depth, from line seismic refraction data consisting of forward and reverse travel time. New computational routines in Visual Basic have been developed for GRM and form the Software "REFRAC-GRM" which works on the Windows 95. These routines can be used to find the depth of refractor at mid point of two respective geophones. The Software was tested on two models of Palmer and the results are found to be in good agreement.
