Abstract:
Three new species Acanthobothrium karachiense, Acanthobothrium mujibi, and Acanthobothrium rubrum are described from a marine fish Myrmillo manazo (BIK); from which Acanthobeithrium species is not reported previously. These three species are differentiated from each other and from other previously described species of the genus, on the basis of size of the hooks, presence or absence of the accessory suckers, shape and size of the mature segments, number 'and arrangement of testis and position of genital pore.
