Abstract:
The unnecessary antibiotic regimen instituted in case of food allergy should be avoided. The diagnosis of food allergy is not very difficult, if only 'its possibility is not forgotten. The family history, close inspection of the baby for the related allergic manifestations together with the patience of watching the results of food elimination for four days and again watching the results after instituting the same food on the fifth day can easily establish the diagnosis of food allergy.
