Abstract:
The developed nations ore reluctant to transfer technology for fear of creating competitors as well as losing markets and sources of cheap labour and raw materials. On the other hand, Pakistan's talented engineers of local technology suffer from lack of financing, lack of support and the lack of a decision on the part of the country's rulers to vest confidence in their countrymen's creative ability to achieve self-reliant development.
