Temperature dependence of dielectric constant of divalent doped MgO single crystals at 1 KHz.

Abstract:
The dielectric constants (é) of MgO single crystals doped with Ni2+ Mn2+ or Co2+, respectively have been measured at 1 KHz in the temperature range 300 to 450 K. The values of the temperature dependence, Formula missing anged between about 1.2 x 10-5 K for Ni21+/Mg0 (1400 ppm Ni to 1.5 x 10-5 K for Co2+/Mg0 (8200 ppm Co.). The data confirms Bosman and Havinga's postulate that, for materials in which the temperature dependence should be positive.
