Local paralysis of face due to tick infection.

Abstract:
Human tick infection is not very common. An unusual complication clue to tick infection in an American tourist in Nepal is reported here. A single specimen, removed from the eyebrow of the tourist, with a sort of Neuralgia was handed over by the Dean Medical School of Agha khan University who visited Nepal. After removing the tick the patient became normal. The tick is identified as belonging to the genus Rhipicephalus, and described here.
