Abstract:
The present study shows the relationship of length-weight and length frequency of Sardinella albella from the Gawadar, Balochistan coast. Sampling was done by using cast nets and gill nets. In total, 451 specimens were collected from January, 2003 to December, 2006. Total length of the specimens was measured by using measuring tape and digital balance was used to find the weight of specimens. The value of allometric coefficient B was above 3 which indicated positive allometric growth. The results further indicated that lengthweight relationships were highly correlated (r2 ≥0.985, p
