Abstract:

A method has been developed to achieve high resolution microwave Images by removing the sidelobe - induced artifacts. The proposed system decomposes the received reflection profile from the target scene and processes the information taken from the target intensities, phases and directions very effectively and then creates the image by an interative algorithm. This method improves the image contrast and dynamic range without affecting the image contrast and dynamic range without affecting the resolving power of the imaging system.
