Abstract:
Roots and underground portions other than roots of Curcuma longa were examined for the presence of Vesicular-Arbuscular Mycorrhiza (VAM). Rhizosphere soil was also examined for Endogonaceous spore types. Heavy VAM infections were recorded in roots and scales. Clusters of vesicles were found in scale-like leaves and epidermal cells.
