The Bhanbhore jaws.

Abstract:
Two mandibles and one maxilla, freshly excavated from the Bhanbhore site were studied from the dental point of view. The most conspicuous feature was a very high degree of attrition both interproximal and occlusal. There was no occlusal caries but proximal caries was well marked in spite of the attrition. Sufficient amounts of tartar were also present.
