Abstract:

The high and medium grade manganese ores existing in the various regions of West Pakistan have been evaluated. The physical and chemical characteristics have been studied with a view to determine their suitability for metallurgical and other industrial purposes. Attention has mainly been focussed on the deposits of Lasbela and Kohat areas.
