Abstract:

Zygotylenchus guevarai was recorded from most of the countries of the world around the roots of various hosts. This species has not previously been reported from the Indo-Pak sub-continent. Recently, during a survey of potato crops in North Western Frontier Province and Baluchistan region, this species was found damaging the roots of potato crop in Quetta and Peshawar. The species is described.
