Two new genera of nematode parasites (Oxyuridae: Oxysomatiinae) from toad Bufo andersoni of Pakistan.

Abstract:
Two new genera and new species Neosomatiana akrami and Parasomatium ishaqi (Oxyuridae: Oxysomatiinae) are described from the Bufo andersoni of Pakistan. The genus Neosomatiana is characterised by having a distinct cephalic collarette, unequal spicules, numerous pedunculated caudal papillae and prequa-torial vulva. The other new genus Parasomatium is characterised by its equal and alate spicules, eleven pairs of preanal pedunculated papillae, prequatorial vulva and absence of cephalic collarette.
