Abstract:
A checklist of the freshwater fishes of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir was published by Mirza (1980).Two species viz., Gotta catta (Hamilton, 1822), and Amblypharyngodon ma/a (Hamilton, 1822) were forgetfully neglected. Since then, some new loathes have also been described from Pakistan. All these fishes are dealt with in this paper.
