Abstract:
An attempt was made to ascertain the virulence spectrum of Pakistan population of potato cyts Nematode (PCN) Globodera pallida and G. rostochiensis. It was observed that all the population belong to G. rostochiensis (Ro1) with certain difference in their rate of multiplication possibly attributing to environmental conditions. The results indicate that with some caution management can be done through use of resistant cultivars H1 resistance.
