Abstract:
This groundbreaking study, conducted at the esteemed Neuro Diagnostic Centre, Hamdard University Hospital, Taj Medical Complex, Karachi, from July 2006 to December 2007, aims to evaluate the prevalence and diverse manifestations of this intriguing condition.Over the course of this enthralling presentation, we will unravel the findings from a cohort of 50 young headache patients who sought care at a prominent Private Neurology Centre during the aforementioned period. These patients, aged between 1 and 17 years, experienced headaches at the tender age of 3 months to 17 years, offering a comprehensive perspective of the ailment`s early onset. As we embark on this journey, we will explore the multifaceted nature of childhood onset headaches, shedding light on the varied types encountered within the Pakistani population. Our investigation will provide valuable insights into the clinical manifestations and possible triggers, offering a deeper understanding of this complex neurological phenomenon.
