Abstract:
As a result of the field study of the Suleiman-Cither mountain structure, West of Quetta, a previously unknown outcrop of Permian rocks has been discovered in the Ghazaband Pass section. The section seen is described and discussed in relation to other Mesozoic outcrops occurring in the region and in the light of their previously reported and more recently collected fossil contents. A scheme of separation of the Triassic and Jurassic rock is suggested as a result of the stratigraphic studies carried out.
