Abstract:
Both thallus and simple rhizoids of Targionia hypophylla were heavily infected with VA-endophytes. Thick-walled vesicles were frequently noticed in the simple rhizoids; whereas in thallus the vesicles, varying in shapes and sizes, were frequently possessing oil-globules and granulated contents. While tuberculated rhizoids did not show any infection. Arbuscules were totally absent.
