Adenoid cystic carcinoma of prostate - A case report.

Abstract:
The adenoid cystic carcinoma of the prostate is a rare malignant epithelial tumour. The clinical and per-operative diagnosis was of prostatic growth. Serum PSA level was within normal limits. On histopathological examination, it was found to be an adenoid cystic carcinoma. These tumours have a better prognosis that in adenocarcinoma of the prostate.
