Two new species of Filenchus and Aglenchus (Andrassy, 1954) meyl, 1961 (Nematoda: Tylenchidae).

Abstract:
Filenchus spiculatus n. sp. found in the rhizosphere of Pisum sativum from Bhawali, Nainital, India, is characterized in having 6-7 pm long spear, pyriform to saccate basal oesophageal bulb and \/ = 60- 6496. It comes close to F. quartus (Szczygiel, 1969) n. comb. Aglenchus andrassyi n. sp. found in the rhizoshpere of Pyrus cammunis from Ranikhet, Almora, India is characterized in having 3 pm wide cutilular annules, narrow lateral field with equally distant incisures, 0.40-0.43 mm long body, 13-16 µm long spear with round knobs and a cylindrical tail tapering from middle to the round terminus. It comes close to A. aqricola (De Man, 1884) Meyl, 1961 A. mardanensis Maqbool et al., 1984 and A. muktii Phukan and Sanwal, 1980. Some new combinations are also proposed viz. F. striatus, F. quartus, F. criniformicaudatus, F. sheri and F. afghanicus. The name Tylenchus sheri Andrassy, 1979 has been retained.
