Four new trematodes of fishes from bay of bengal, purl orissa, India.

Abstract:
Three new genera and four new species from marine fishes, Bay of Bengal, Puri, Orissa are described. Parheterorchis orissai gen. et sp. n. from the intestine of Scatophagus argus (Bloch.), Pseudogomtiotrema caranxi gen. et sp. n. from the intestine of Caranx malabaricus (Cuv. & Val), Bilqeesotrema theraponi gen. et sp. n. from the intestine of Chirocentrus dorab (Ruppell). The three new genera and four species are separated from the previous genera of the families and species on the basis of main diagnostic features such as extent of ceca shape of excretory vesicle, absence of aerophagus and seminal receptacle, position of vitellaria and genital pore.
