Abstract:
Hall-Littlewood polynomials defined by Philip Hall and Littlewood are now to be related to a variety of topics in representation theory, geometry and combinatories. These polynomials are also, helpful in representation theory of complex linear group GL (n, C). We have given the special case of these polynomials for the value of indeterminate equal to-1. Such type of functions are known as Schur’s Q-functions. In this paper we present a result between and irreducible character in terms of power sum symmetric function by using Schur’s Q-functions.
