Abstract:
Hybridization experiments were carried out among six different varieties of cotton. Results for the mean yield, mean ginning percentage and mean staple length and the significance of Acala crosses in F1, F2 and F3 generations are tabulated. Crossing experiments indicate that Acala x 199 F and Acala x (199F x 181F) are the better combinations.
