Abstract:

Volume changes on mixing of various compositions of 2-butanol + water have been deduced from precision density measurements in the temperature range of 5*C to 55*C at 1 bar. A DMA 40 Anton Paar densimeter is used giving 0001 ± g/cm3 precision on density measurements.
