Abstract:

Competitive Enzyme-lmmuno Assay and Passive Particle Agglutination was used to screen HLA-antisera. We tested a total of forty different HLA-antisera for the presence of HIV antibodies to see cross-reactivity of different HLA-antisera with HIV testing kits. None of the forty HLA-antisera was found to be reactive for HIV- antibodies nor was any cross-reactivity observed.
