Abstract:
The distribution and occurrence of Larger Forminifera ranging in age from Lower Eocene to Middle Eocene have been determined. An attempt has been made to establish the stratigraphic ranges of the genera and species which are identical with those of adjacent areas. Tertiary deposits of Sind are studied in detail, which is characterized by a variety, of sedimentary facies; studies may be undertaken to determine the facies change and to avoid unnecessary names for slight change in lithology. This can be achieved by exact determination of fauna on the basis of biostratigraphic studies.
