Abstract:
Test of the (FBZ) Ref. equation is made by the use of S-Alkylisothiouronium bromide iodide and picrate salts in pure methanol, ethanol, n-propanol n-butanol. A°Br- X41- and are determined by application of a recently modified method in the laboratory. A comparison is made between the summations of hydrodynamic radii (intercept) and (ri+4. ri-(slope) with both closest approach distance eav and cosphere diameter Ray' which were deduced from conductance data. The conclusion is that, the solvent-separated ion-pair model is more acceptable to alcoholic systems.
