Abstract:
The enzyme Tryptophan synthetase from the mycelium of organism Gymnoascus species was extracted and its activity studied. The estimation is performed at pH 7.8 and at 37°C temperature. Further the activity of enzyme was studied at various temperatures (17°C, 47°C, 57°C, 67°C and 77°C) and different pH (5.8, 6.2, 6.7, 7.8 and 8.7). The experiment showed that the optimum temperature of the enzyme is 37 C and optimum pH is 8.2.
