Two new nematode parasites of the genus neoxysomatium ballesteros marquez, 1945 from the frogs of Karachi, Pakistan.

Abstract:
Two new species of the genus Neoxysomatium are described here belonging to the family Oxyuridae. Neoxysomatium ranae from the host Rana cyanophyictis is characterised by having broad cervical bulb, lateral alae, by the presence of indistinct oesophageal bulb, spade shape gubernaculum and sessile caudal papillae. Neoxysomatium sindhensis from Rana cyanophylctis is characterized by having broad cervical bulb, by the presence of indistinct oesophageal bulb, by the absence of lateral alae, oval gubernaculum and pedunculated caudal papillae which are all preanal.
