Abstract:
Three types of elements of lattices have been de-fined and studied, namely: (i) torsion elements corresponding to torsion subgroups; (ii) torsion free elements corresponding to Kernels of homomorphisms into torsion free 'groups; (iii) neat elements, corresponding to neat sub-groups, a type of sub-group related to pure subgroups.
