Abstract:
The most important factor which affects the workability is the water content. Furthermore, water content is dependent upon the amount and fineness of cement, grading, maize, type, shape and surface texture of aggregate. Effects of the variability of these factors on the amount of water to be added for a particular workability have been discussed in this paper. Effects of moisture present in the aggregate have been omitted.
