Abstract:
Vesicular-arbuscular endophytes with a beaded mycelium, producing spore-like structures of many different sizes, were found in the roots and scale leaves and epidermis of the rhizomatous tissues of Colocasia antiquorum Schott. Extra-matrical thick-walled compartmented vesicles occurred frequently.
