Abstract:
The Lahore District Flora by late Prof. Shiv Ram Kashyap of the Panjab University published in 1936 contains 72 families, about 291 genera and nearly 450 spp. upto Leguminosae. The manuscript was later completed by Prof. Joshi. The omission of Graminae and Cyperaceae from it, has recently been fulfilled by Dr. Sultan Ahmad's `Grasses and Sedges of Lahore'. One hundred cases of nomenclatorial or taxonomic changes are presented to help those who would like to combine the above two works and bring out a revised Flora of Lahore District.
