Abstract:
The effects of N(0-48 kg 'ha) and P(0-36 kg ha) on quality of range forage was determined in the Pabbi Hills Range of Punjab. N concentration in foliage increased from 1.24% to 1.50% with increasing N application: P concentration decreased from 0.135 to 0.80% with increasing N application but increased from 0.80 to 0.13% with increasing P application. N-use efficiency increased from 24.58% to 83.33% with increasing dose of N fertilizer whereas P- use efficiency was 8.4°c and was least affected.
