Abstract:
Microbiological, spectrophotometric, fluorimetric, chromatographic, polarographic and same other techniques which are used for the quantitative analysis of tetracycline antibiotics have been reviewed. Of these high pressure liquid chromatography which has come into use recently is the most widely used for assay purposes. A brief description of the stability of tetracyclines is also given.
