A study on the prevalence of epilepsy in Gills de la Tourette Syndrome.

Abstract:
We investigated 237 Gilles de la Tourette syndrome cases and found that of these 6 patients were sufferings from epilepsy. The prevalence of epilepsy was also evaluated in the general population and it was found that the prevalence of epilepsy in Gilles de la Tourette syndrome was 253 per 100,000 populations which is much higher than that found in general population (20 per 100,000 populations).
