Present Status and Main Obstacles in Malaria Intervention in Pakistan

Abstract:
Malaria spread is unbalanced in Pakistan with the utmost figure of cases revealed during the downpour season. Although its high frequency, malaria is still an inadequately resourced, in sufficiently funded and an uninhibited disease especially in remote zones. Pakistan Malaria Control Program (MCP), even though operational seeing as its commencement in 1947, has affected owing to the unsound political, socioeconomic and economic condition in the country. In Pakistan, approximately 300 000 cases of malaria are reported annually. It is anticipated that as regards 80% of the peoples received treatment from private hospital. As the private centers does not provide regularly details information to the administration. Similarly supreme requirement for sane treatment in the face of rampant drug resistance places escalating importance on the exactness of malaria analysis. Likewise security problems and constant military operations in remote areas resulted in limited access of staff. This continuing security circumstances badly exaggerated establishment of malaria facilities as well as capacity building course. In this review, we have evaluated the narrative of unfortunate manage of malaria in Pakistan since long establish Malaria intervention, but face lot of problems which is need to be reform control program strategies with novel technique, and advance approach.
