Abstract:
Investigations were confined to the areas of Korangi Creek and Manora Channel. Twenty species of penaeid shrimp were recorded of which seven species are reported to be found most abundantly which support valuable commercial fisheries of this region. The ultimate aim of the present studies is to achieve and understand the factors relating to shrimp larvae and their development. A key presenting criteria for differentiating the stages and sub-stages and second key facilitating generic identification, of penaeid larvae and post larvae are also included.
