Abstract:
The feasibility of seismic monitoring aimed at intermediate-term middle-range prediction of strong earthquakes, magnitude 6.6 or larger, by using the existing global and local databases on earthquakes and earthquake prediction algorithms, this paper is concerned to investigate some aspects of the performance of the intermediate term middle range prediction algorithm M8 using two different threshold settings for Quetta region Pakistan.
