Abstract:

The system CaO-Si02, has been studied at a temperature of 1550o C. Thermodynamic activities of CaO and SiO2 has been studied using the gas mixtures containing sufficient partial Pressures of S2 Another thermodynamic activity namely the, sulphide capacity has also been determined.
