Taxonomic study of some microalgae from Lahore, Pakistan.

Abstract:
Eight species of algae belonging to six genera and five families of the order Bacillariales (phylum Bacillariophyta) and one species of Euglena (phylum Euglenophyta) were collected from fountain waters of different historical places at Lahore City during March to August 1996. They were taxonomically investigated and are being describe here.
