A new subfamily, kuldanaysterinae of the family cordulegasteridae (odonata: anisoptera) from Pakistan.

Abstract:
A single male specimen of Kuldanagaster pakistanica captured from Kuldana- Muree Hills, at an altitude of 6909 ft represents a new genus and new species under a new subfamily Kuldanagasterinae. The new taxa proposed are described in detail. The distribution and characters of the family Cordulegasteridae, after making necessary amendments due to the `introduction of the new subfamily, are also given.
