Abstract:
In this paper, for the first time, we report a new record of Paratylenchus lepidus. The nematode was isolated from rhizosphere of ramie in Yuanjiang, Hunan province, China. The morphological characters of this population are very similar to P. lepidus previously reported from Taiwan. Additionally, ribosome DNA internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequences of this population showed 85% identity with that of P. lepidus from Taiwan.
