Af?ne invariant shape recognition using spline interpolation.

Abstract:
This paper deals with the technique of matching, corresponding and invariability of 2D shapes using af?ne invariant shape recognition (translation, scaling) and convex hull property. Rational cubic spline interpolant and rational quadratic spline interpolants (Conics) have been used as a tool for these properties. The proposed techniques are being demonstrated using circle and ellipses.
